Two new students have been selected to be University Ambassadors at William Woods University.

Bailey Campanini, a sophomore from Camdenton, Mo., and KiKi Kuehnert, a freshman from Columbia, Mo., will join a diverse group of 22 students whose roles are vital in the recruitment process.

To be eligible to serve as University Ambassadors, students must be in good academic standing, exhibit qualities of leadership, have a genuine desire to promote the university and have demonstrated the ability to balance academics with campus and community involvement.

“Deciding what college to go to is a big decision, and I remember how overwhelming it felt at times. I became a UA, because I want to help current high school students discover everything William Woods has to offer so they can make the best decision possible,” explained Campanini.

Their primary responsibilities include leading campus tours, assisting with campus event days such as Discovery Days and the Equestrian Academic Showcase and hosting prospective students. These students are also expected to attend bi-monthly meetings and assist the Admissions Office with general recruitment.

“Both of these young women have the charisma and passion for the university that we are looking for, in addition to a great work ethic and warm personality. They will be great additions to our already outstanding team of UAs,” said Kristen David, admissions representative and University Ambassador adviser.
