12 Initiated into Communication Honorary

The Xi Zeta Chapter of Lambda Pi Eta was established in the fall of 2002 and initiated its first members in late April. Lambda Pi Eta is the official communication studies honor society of the National Communication Association, with nearly 300 active chapters of the honorary worldwide.
To be eligible for initiation, members must have a minimum overall grade point average of 3.0 and a minimum grade point average of 3.25 in studies of communication. Also, members must be juniors or seniors with a declared major in the communication field and display a commitment to the field of communication.
The 12 initiates were: David Anderson of Fulton, Mo.; Jessica Brinker of Winfield, Mo.; Angela Cooper of Red Bud, Ill.; Candace Darley of Fulton, Mo.; Megan Klein of Fort Smith, Ark.; Kelly Knaus of Columbia, Mo.; Leah Novack of St. Louis, Mo.; Sara Piland of Arlington, Texas; Nick Ptaschinski of Sandy, Utah; Rebecca Quintero of Imperial, Mo.; Amanda Schick of Mexico, Mo., and Angela Wallace of Memphis, Tenn.
