Lacey SweetenLacey Sweeten of New Bloomfield, Mo., has been named to the 2011 edition of “Who’s Who among Students in American Universities and Colleges.”
 
Sweeten, a business administration and communications major, was one of 14 William Woods University students selected for Who’s Who based on outstanding campus leadership.
 
A campus nominating committee and editors of the annual directory chose the students based on academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success.
 
By being listed in “Who’s Who,” Sweeten joins an elite group of students from more than 2,300 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states. Outstanding students have been honored in the annual directory since it was first published in 1934.
 
Sweeten has been a member of Order of Omega Greek leadership honor society and vice president of finance and vice president of membership for Omicron Delta Kappa leadership honor society.

A member of Alpha Phi sorority, she has been president and vice president of chapter operations, as well as Panhellenic representative.  She was vice president of recruitment and marketing for Panhellenic. She was named Greek Sophomore of the Year in 2009.
