On Tuesday (March 18), the 18 students in the Math 351 (Teaching Elementary Math) class taught by Shari Means will play host to approximately 160 fourth graders from the three public elementary schools in Fulton.
The class has designed 10 problem-solving stations for the youngsters to tackle. They’ll guide the elementary school students through each station and help them come up with strategies to solve each problem.
“This will allow my students to practice the methods they’ve been learning in class,” Means said, adding that the fourth graders will benefit from practicing the skills required for the MAP test they are required to take later in the semester.
