WWU President Announces President’s Twenty Appointments

William Woods University President Jahnae H. Barnett recently announced the appointment of officers and members of President’s Twenty, a collegiate honorary service society whose members serve as her official ambassadors at university events.
New officers are Harrison Jones of Fulton, Mo., and Liza Payne of Zionsville, Ind., co chairs; Gina Davis of Chesterfield, Mo., assistant co-chair; Drew Neudecker of Alton, Ill., treasurer; Liz Tuma of Brunswick, Ohio, communications chair; Jessica Standifer of Ft. Worth, Texas, uniform coordinator, and Zach Hurst of Jefferson City, Mo., and Anna Casaleggi of St. Louis, Mo., auction co-chairs.
New members for the 2010-2011 academic year from Missouri are Michael Dodson of Mexico, Mosen Murillo of Jefferson City, Brooke Thibodaux of Wildwood, William Wallace of Louisiana, Carmen Watchinski of Columbia, Lucas Watson of Louisiana and Katherine Wortmann of Mexico.
New members from out of state are Anna Bergman of Waukee, Iowa; Bridgette Doig of Escondido, Calif.; Lauren Greenwald of Houston, Texas; Rachel Petricka of Las Vegas, Nev.; Gentry Pickett of Lafayette, La.; Elizabeth Thomas of South Amherst, Ohio; Miranda Weber of Niagara, Wis., and Tuma.
Reappointed members are: Jessica Bargate of Jefferson City, Cassaleggi, Davis, Hurst, Jones, Neudecker, Payne and Standifer.
President's Twenty serves as the official honor and color guard at all university convocations, commencements and other activities where needed. They also act as liaisons between the university president and the student body, providing an avenue of communication for each.
Potential members must first complete a written application, and are then interviewed by the president, vice president of advancement and the chair of President's Twenty. The president makes the final selection.
William Woods University is a coeducational, independent, professions-oriented liberal arts-based institution, located in historic Fulton, Mo. The university offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees in a variety of disciplines in both campus and outreach settings.
