Comic/Author to Speak at WWU about Mental Illness

Jones is a nationally known stand up comic, author and mental health speaker. His program is designed to not only educate those in attendance about living with bipolar disorder, but to present the information in an entertaining manner.
Topics included are: mental illness, as real illness; seeking help, why you must do it; drugs and alcohol abuse; decision making, and bipolar illness is not an excuse. While his program will explain the types of mental illnesses that affect people, it will also focus on the importance of seeking help and the options available for those who need it.

His 17 year career as a professional stand up comic has given him a razor sharp wit that allows him to navigate through the toughest of situations.
