Mid-Missouri Students Participate in Math Relays at WWU

Tyler Crouch and Kelson Rosbach of Hallsville tied for 1st place. Others scoring in the top five overall were Cody Wimmer of South Callaway, 3rd place; Caleb Bartley of South Callaway, 4th place, and Kierstyn Fornoff of South Callaway, 5th place.
Students competed by grade level in both individual and team events. Topics ranged from algebra and geometry to more advanced areas, such as probability and set theory.
WWU staff participating in the relays included math and sciences faculty Chris Schneider, Dennis Nickelson, Joe Kyger and Jim Wayne. Vikky Bucher and Mathew Willard, a junior majoring in mathematics, provided additional support.
