Several William Woods University equestrian students and university-owned horses participated in the Springtime in Dixie “AA” Show in Germantown, Tenn., for hunter/jumpers. They were coached by Linda McClaren. The results are:

Alison Gay of Sugar Grove, Ill., and Sounds Expensive (Panja):
Modified Child/Adult Hunters: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and Reserve Champion
Adult Amateur Hunters 18-35: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and Reserve Champion

Dorothy Topa of Hanover Park, Ill., and Mane Event (Twix):
Level 0 Jumpers: 1st, 1st, and 1st
Level 1 Jumpers: 1st, and 5th

Kelsey Burlingame of Anchorage, Alaska, and I Love Lucy:
Level 0 Jumpers: 1st
Ariat Medal: 2nd
Modified Child/Adult Hunters: 6th, 7th
Adult Amateur Hunters 18-35: 4th, 7th, 7th, 7th

Jojo Levy of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Prairie Silver:
Pre-Green Hunters: 5th, 7th
Adult Amateur Hunters 18-35: 8th, 8th, 8th

Sarah Popelka of Clayton, Mo., and Jackalope:
Level 2 Jumpers: 1st
Child/Adult Jumpers: 8th, 8th
$1,900 Washington International Horse Show and NAL Child/Adult Jumper Classic: 5th place

Jennifer Hewitt of Nichols, Wis., and Reno:
Level 0 Jumpers: 1st
Pre-Adult Hunters: 5th and 7th

Jessica Litfin of Topeka, Kan., and Linus:
Level 1 Jumpers: 4th
