William Woods University

Fourteen riders and 13 horses represented William Woods University at the Lake St. Louis “A” Hunter/Jumper Show recently, claiming two championships.

Blair Hackel of Excelsior Springs, Mo., and J Arthur brought home a Championship in the Adult Amateur Hunters 18-35 and Mary Schultz-Rathbun of Brush Prairie, Wash., and Reno brought home a Championship in the Adult Hunters II.

Brittney Jewell of Grasston, Minn., and Charmed earned the Reserve Championship in the Adult Hunters II Division. Jenna Stimac of St. Charles, Mo., and Linda McClaren, associate professor of equestrian science, teamed up to put some valuable miles on a very green Pro Bono.

Lindsey Stephan of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., and Blair Hackel teamed up to introduce former event horse Donnachadh to the world of show jumping. Dannielle Hott of Kankakee, Ill., enjoyed the ride on Detante, who piloted her safely around her first jumper courses at an “A” show. The rest of the ribbons earned:
