passed away on Oct. 3, 2008.
Joan (Wallace) Albertson
’48, Ithaca, N.Y.,
died on Aug. 24, 2008. Joyce was a member
of Delta Delta Delta sorority and Philanthropic
Educational Organization.

Ind., passed away on April 2, 2007. Sara was
active in many organizations.

passed away on Jan. 20, 2008.

’49, Washington, Ind.,
died on July 13, 2008. She had been a teacher
for 25 years and was involved in community
theater.

’50, Glenview, Ill.,
passed away on July 31, 2008. She is
survived by nieces and a nephew.

away on Nov. 11, 2008. Leigh had a strong
commitment to many charitable, civic and
philanthropic activities.

school librarian and an accomplished quilter
for more than 20 years.

of children with disabilities and helped lead a
special needs Cub Scout pack.

passed away on Dec. 13, 2007. She was a
former educator and enjoyed volunteering.
Marilyn (Rasmussen) Binkley
’61, Fort
Wayne, Ind., passed away on Oct. 13, 2007.
Marilyn had been an insurance agent for
more than 15 years.
Karen (Wilkey) Cundith
’63, Sterling, Kan.,
passed away on July 23, 2008. She was a
bookkeeper for Pratt Livestock and Cundith
Accounting.

Sept. 25, 2007. She enjoyed riding horses,
playing tennis and being out with her dog.

on April 21, 2008. She was involved in the

professional accolades, and loved working
with and helping people. She is survived by
her husband, Ken; her sons, Matt and Mitch,
and her daughter, Lindsay ’03.

on Jan. 28, 2009, in Columbia, Mo., at the age
of 76. She was employed at William Woods for
15 years as a housekeeper.
Dr. Henry Polowy

on Oct. 12, 2008, at the age of 90. He taught
mathematics for several years at WWU.
Lillian Dean (Terrell) Wright
, Calwood, Mo.,
died on Nov. 22, 2008. She worked in food
