illiam Woods University’s master of
business administration program is ranked
ffth among top MBA programs in Missouri
and Kansas, according to Ingram’s, Kansas City’s
business magazine.
“This ranking solidifes William Woods University’s
position among the elite graduate business
programs in the region,”
Dr. Jahnae H. Barnett
WWU president, said. “This ranking is excellent
news for our stakeholders, particularly our alumni
and students, as the value of their educational
investment continues to increase. I am delighted
that the William Woods MBA program is receiving
the recognition it richly deserves.”
The programs were ranked by fall 2008 enrollment
and reported in the January issue of Ingram’s.
Jumping seven spots from the previous year, WWU
moved ahead of the University of Phoenix, St. Louis
University, University of Missouri-St. Louis, Missouri
State University, University of Missouri-Kansas City
and Rockhurst University.
With an enrollment of 467 students in the program,
WWU also fnished ahead of such institutions as
the University of Kansas, University of Missouri-
Columbia, Columbia College and Fontbonne

by Ingram’s,” said
Bill Bott
, former deputy chief
information offcer for the state of Missouri and
now consulting partner with the Change and
Innovation Agency.
“Their approach allows participants
to complete a quality master’s
program while balancing work,
family and school."
Bott added, "Williams Woods knows how to respect
