| The Hoot
Dear Readers,
As the grass starts to green, flowers bloom and the
days are becoming warmer, spring fever has certainly
hit. It’s hard to believe this time of the year has come
already! Time has certainly flown by at The Woods
this year.
With graduation, an exciting and nerve racking time,
looming in the near future, we bring you the fourth
issue of The Hoot.
Our staff members have worked around the clock to
bring you our best issue yet. With help from Professor
Elliott’s graphic design class, we hope you join us in
congratulating our graduating seniors.
We would like to personally thank Will Terrell, Ashley
McCartney, Kierra McCarthy, Hilary Fink, Jessica
Hornung, Megan Lovino, Molly Feldt and Kelsey
Donovan for their hard work on creating the
senior ads.
If you are interested in joining the staff, just contact
me! We are always looking for new members to
join us in writing, photographing, designing and
selling ads. Remember, you don’t have to be a
journalism major!
Now, please sit back and enjoy reading our feature
stories about the incredible trips taken over spring
break, a day in the life of a television news anchor,
a tribute to a wonderful professor, the passion of an
athlete and much more.
Until next time,
