We often take the right to vote for granted, but women in this country have had that right for less than 100 years. Winning tt took more than 70 years of petitioning, lobbying, and picketing the White House every day for a year. Author Margot McMillen will discuss her latest book The Golden Lane, which tells the part that Missouri women played in winning the right to vote. 1 Point
