The Imagine Campaign is a transformative undertaking for William Woods. Generous supporters helped make WWU what it is today by imagining beyond what was to what could be.
Now it is time to transform William Woods through three primary campaign initiatives:
Sorority Circle & Amphitheatre
The university plans to build a new residential complex that will house all four sororities in a single Sorority Circle and an adjacent amphitheatre. The need for the Sorority Circle and Amphitheatre is clear. William Woods must provide additional campus housing to accommodate significant student population growth over the past decade and to address the decreasing availability of suitable campus housing.
Center for Ethics & Global Studies
The Center for Ethics and Global Studies is an endowment of an academic program that builds on several existing initiatives/projects. It has four components:
Ethics and Global Diversity Courses
Short- and Long-term Study Abroad
International Student Services
Gateway to Service Opportunities
Alumni & Visitors' Center
The university plans to renovate the current presidential residence into an Alumni and Visitors' Center that would be immediately visible from the new Woods Way entrance on the northwest side of campus, providing a beautiful, dramatic and welcoming portal to the university.
