Direct Admission From Undergraduate Study
Graduate departments and programs may require prospective students to present documentation of professional experience as a condition of acceptance. In such instances it has been determined that experience is essential to mastery of program content; ordinarily, exceptions to the experience requirement are not permitted. Nonetheless, when it has been determined by the program director that a candidate for admission has the capacity to master program content, even though the prerequisite experience requirement has not been satisfied, the director may request that the Dean of Graduate and Adult Studies waive the experience requirement.
