American Saddlebred horse trainer Tammy Devore will be coming to William Woods University this weekend (February 4 and 5) to share her Saddle Seat expertise with students and horses.

Devore is the owner and operator of Devore Stables in Sonora, Kentucky, and has been showing American Saddlebred horses for 37 years and training professionally for 27 years. Originally from Sonora, Devore left home to work for trainers such as Joe Cornell and Steve Crabtree, but remains mainly self-taught. This trainer’s talent has brought herself and her clients over 100 World’s and Reserve World’s Championships from the 5-Gaited Stallion Stake to the 10 and under Walk and Trot division.

The clinic will be take place this Saturday (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and Sunday (8 a.m. to 1 p.m.) in the United Professional Horseman's Association (UPHA) Arena at William Woods, on Ewing Street. It is free and open to the public for spectating.
