ACC412 Accounting Information Systems

A study of the analysis and design of accounting systems, this course will be substantially hands-on involvement in computerized accounting capabilities. Emphasis will be placed on various approaches to the transaction-processing cycle, using a suitable software package, problems of internal control, EDP auditing and the accountant's role in the systems-development process.
