BMT526 Human Resources in Administration

Human Resource Administration holds a key place in every progressive organization. This course will provide the student with a comprehensive overview of the many functions carried out within the human resource department. The evolution of the HR department will be included, progressing through to a clear understanding regarding the current corporate view of the HR department. Actual function of the HR department will be explored, as well as brief discussion of how HR departments are split into individualized areas (Counseling for both management and employee, benefits, compensation, legal/regulatory function, staffing, EEOC, etc.). 3 Credits
