Credit Hour Loads: Overload Enrollment

Courses are conducted in three primary formats: the semester format, the accelerated format, and the combined format which incorporates semester and accelerated formats.

Enrollment on an overload basis requires the approval of the Advisor. Failure to get approval may cause the credits to not count toward the degree.

The maximum credit hour loads in each format are as follows:

Accelerated Format
Students may enroll for no more than 6 credit hours simultaneously.
Semester Format
Students may enroll for no more than 12 credit hours simultaneously.
Combined Format
Students may enroll for no more than 13 credit hours simultaneously.
