SWK250 Community Service Learning
Community Service Learning is a course that combines community service with active learning to improve both the community and the learner. This course is unique for it's attention to individual reflection that enhances civic, social and professional development. Participants in the class will design and implement several projects over the course of the semester and will evaluate the impact these have had on the community. The projects will be in conjunction with social service agencies, and will afford students the opportunity to interact with various client populations while being exposed to agency structures and service delivery.
