CIS390 Internship I
This course allows the student an opportunity to acquire practical knowledge in the student’s intended career field. The course requires a minimum of 120 clock hours in an approved work situations. The internship is under the direct supervision of a professional engaged in the application of the student’s major field, along with a CIS faculty member who will oversee the internship process. Students must meet specified requirements for entry, submit applications, fulfill all internship requirements and complete an internship interview prior to being admitted. Internship hours cannot be substituted for any of the courses required for the major. Internships may be combined (CIS 390,451,452) for a combination of 3,6,9 or 12 hours. Permission of the CIS Internship director required prior to registration.
