Phinney Named Scholar-Athlete

(FULTON, Mo, Dec. 7)--Senior Kristen Phinney (Washington, Mo.) has been recognized as an NAIA women's soccer scholar-athlete. Phinney joins 387 other recipients.

 

To receive the award, the student-athlete must be nominated by the institution's head coach, maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have achieved junior academic status.

 

Phinney is a two-time recipient of the NAIA Scholar-Athlete award. She also received the award following the 2008 season. Phinney finishes her William Woods career as a three-time Academic All-American Midwest Conference recipient as well.
