Tournament Bracket Announced

(FULTON, Mo, Nov. 4) - The William Woods University women's soccer team will play Hannibal-LaGrange College in the quarterfinals of the American Midwest Conference postseason tournament. The Owls and Trojans will play at 1 pm in Hannibal, Mo., on November 6th.

The Owls and Trojans have played twice this season. Hannibal-LaGrange won 2-1 in Fulton, Mo., on September 16th, and 4-1 in Hannibal, Mo., on October 31st.

H-LG enters the match 7-8-1 on the season. WWU enters the match 4-13 on the year.

Sophomore Anne Weaver leads the Owls in goals heading into the postseason tournament. Weaver has scored seven goals on the season. Senior Kelsey Evans is second in goals scored for William Woods with five. Sophomore Caty Newbold leads the squad with four assists. Freshman Anna Hatfield has started all 16 matches in goal for William Woods. She has recorded two shutouts and 94 saves.
