Soccer Opens AMC Play Wednesday

(FULTON, Mo., Sept. 15) - The William Woods University women's soccer team will open its American Midwest Conference schedule on Wednesday evening. The Owls will host Hannibal-LaGrange College at 7 pm at Firley Field.

WWU is 1-3 on the season. The Owls are coming off a 1-0 loss to #11 Benedictine College on September 12th. HL-G is also 1-3 on the year. The Trojans are coming off a 3-1 loss to Taylor University on September 12th.

The Owls and Trojans split a pair of matches last season. WWU won 2-1 in overtime in Fulton, Mo., on September 23rd. The Trojans won 2-0 in Hannibal, Mo., on October 25th.
