Women Travel to Louisville

(FULTON, Mo., Oct. 2) - The William Woods University women's cross country team will travel to the University of Louisville on October 3rd. The Owls will compete in the University of Louisville Classic.

The Owls are coming off a 24th place finish at the Missouri Southern University Stampede. Junior Kristi Palmer (Ste. Genevieve, Mo.) was the top runner for the Owls. Palmer finished 36th in a massive field that consisted of 359 runners. She finished the 5k race with a time of 18:48.61. Her time is now the eighth fastest 5k in school history. Palmer now holds four of the top ten fastest times.
