Owls Host Central Methodist

(FULTON, Mo., Nov. 16) -The William Woods University women’s basketball team will host Central Methodist University tonight in Anderson Arena. Tip-off is at 5:30 pm.

 

William Woods enter tonight’s game 2-0 on the season. The Owls are coming off a 58-53 victory at Benedictine College on November 10. The Owls were led in scoring, and rebounding, by junior Rachel Baker (Mexico, Mo.) Baker recorded a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Senior Eshell Estrella added 16 points and three assists in the victory.

 

Central Methodist enters tonight’s game 3-1 on the season. The Eagles are coming off a 65-47 victory against Tabor College on November 14.

 

The Owls lead the all-time series between the two schools 28-7. Central Methodist won the last meeting 78-74 on November 6, 2007, in Fayette, Mo.
