Meet The Owls Night

(FULTON, Mo., October 20) -The men and women’s basketball teams would like to kick-off the 2009-10 season by inviting you to a retro 70’s “Meet the Owls Night” on Friday, October 30, at 7 pm. Both teams will participate in a short intra-squad scrimmage, followed by a few student contests. 70’s themed t-shirts will be given away to the first 50 students. All students are encouraged to dress in 70’s style clothes. Prizes will be given out to the best dressed fan or fans.

Two lucky fans will be given the chance to win $500 for making a half-court shot. You can purchase a chance for one dollar when you enter Anderson Arena. Proceeds from the sale of half-court shot tickets will be donated to the local SERVE chapter in Fulton, Mo. SERVE, Inc. is a nonprofit social service agency in Fulton, Missouri serving the unmet needs of Callaway County. Services include a food pantry, transportation system, senior volunteer placement, thrift store, youth mentoring, and GED classes.
