Woods Travels to McKendree

(LEBANON, Ill., Sept. 25) - The William Woods University volleyball team will travel to American Midwest Conference rival McKendree University Friday evening. The Owls and Bearcats will play at 7 pm.

William Woods enters the AMC match-up 10-5 on the season, 2-2 in the AMC. McKendree enters the match 7-5 overall, 3-1 in the AMC. McKendree leads the all-time series 26-17. McKendree won the last meeting between the two team. The Bearcats defeated the Owls 3-0 on September 11th, 2008, in the AMC Quarterfinals in Fulton, Mo.

WWU is coming off a come-from-behind AMC victory on Tuesday night. The Owls rallied to defeat William Baptist College in Walnut Ridge, Ark., 3-2.
