(PARKVILLE, Mo., Oct. 21)--The William Woods University volleyball team collected another American Midwest Conference victory on Wednesday night. The Owls won at Park University 3-0 by scores of 25-22, 25-14 and 25-12. WWU has now won 12 straight matches, and 18 of its last 20.

 

Senior Cali Simmons (Shawnee, Kans.) had a game-high 11 kills in the win for the Owls. Senior Lacey Olin (Colorado Springs, Colo.) added eight kills in the victory. Senior Skye Wade (Licking, Mo.) recorded a game-high 17 digs for WWU. Sophomore Molly Dougherty (Omaha, Nebr.) added a game-high 26 assists.

 

Park falls to 5-20 on the season, and 2-11 in the AMC. William Woods improves to 21-5 on the year, 11-2 in league play.

 

The Owls will return to action on October 24th. They will travel to Liberty, Mo., and compete in the William Jewell College Invitational Tournament.
