Wade Named as WWU Student-Athlete of the Month for October

(FULTON, MO. , Nov. 10) - Senior volleyball player Skye Wade has been named as the William Woods University Student-Athlete of the Month for October.

Wade a senior Libero from Licking, Missouri has anchored the back row for the Owls, while leading the American Midwest Conference in digs with 6.4 per game which ranks her #5 in the country.

Wade has helped lead the Owls to an outstanding 26-6 record and second place finish in the AMC. She also recently received the American Midwest Conference Volleyball Player of the Week award for Nov. 2-8.

In addition to volleyball, Wade has also been a three-time letter winner in basketball.
