Volleyball Faces Road Test Tonight

(FULTON, Mo., Sept. 15) - The William Woods University volleyball team will travel to St. Charles, Mo., to take on Lindenwood University tonight.

The nonconference match-up pits the Owls against last week's 20th ranked team in the NAIA (Top 25 poll). This week's poll will come out later this afternoon.

William Woods enters the match with a record of 8-3. The Owls swept four matches at the University of St. Mary tournament over the weekend.

#20 Lindenwood enters the match 10-3 on the year. Two of its three losses have come to American Midwest Conference member, and 4th ranked, Columbia College.

Lindenwood leads the all-time series between the two schools 12-6. The two schools last met on September 5th, 2006. The Lions defeated the Owls 3-0 in St. Charles, Mo.
