Owls Dim Stars

(COLUMBIA, Mo., Sept. 28) - The William Woods University volleyball team had little problem at American Midwest Conference foe Stephens College. The Owls collected a 3-0 victory en route to its 12th victory of the season. William Woods defeated Stephens College 25-10, 25-11 and 25-21.

Junior Brianna Rodriguez (Camdenton, Mo.) had a team-high eight kills, and 16 assists, in the WWU victory. Junior Molly Dougherty (Omaha, Nebr.) collected 19 assists for the Owls. Stephens falls to 2-9 overall, and 1-4 in the AMC. William Woods improves to 12-5 on the year, 4-2 in the AMC.

WWU will return to action on October 1st. The Owls will travel to AMC rival Hannibal-LaGrange College. The match will start at 7 pm.
