14 Straight For Owls

(LIBERTY, Mo., Oct. 24)--The William Woods University volleyball team earned two victories at the William Jewell College Tournament on Saturday. WWU has now won 14 straight matches and 20 of its last 22.

The Owls defeated Culver-Stockton College in the 11 am match. WWU won 3-2 by scores of 22-25, 25-22, 25-19, 24-26 and 15-7.

WWU took care of host William Jewell College in the 1:30 pm match. The Owls won 3-0 by scores of 25-18, 25-17 and 25-23.

William Woods (23-5) will return to action on Oct. 27. The Owls will host American Midwest Conference foe Williams Baptist College. First serve will be at 4 pm in Anderson Arena.
