Tournament Bracket Announced

(FULTON, Mo., Nov. 4)--The William Woods University men's soccer team will play Hannibal-LaGrange College in the quarterfinals of the American Midwest Conference postseason tournament. The Owls and Trojans will play at 1 pm in Hannibal, Mo., on November 7th.

The Owls and Trojans played on November 1st. Today, William Woods learned that Hannibal-LaGrange used an ineligible player in that match, thus awarding a forfeit win to William Woods.

Hannibal-LaGrange enters the match 9-7-1 on the season. WWU enters the match 11-5-1 on the year.

Junior Dirk Bauer leads the Owls in goals heading into the postseason tournament. Bauer has scored six goals on the season. Senior Steve Brocks is second in goals scored for William Woods with five. Senior Oliver Dyson leads the squad with five assists. Freshman Robert Thibodeaux has started eight matches in goal for William Woods. He has recorded five shutouts and 23 saves.
