 Owls JV 4th at Tournament
(FULTON, Mo., Oct. 14) - The William Woods University men's junior varsity golf team finished fourth at the WWU Fall Invitational Tournament on Tuesday. The field consisted of 6 teams.
Oklahoma Baptist University won the two-day tournament. OBU shot rounds of 71 and 69. They finished -4 for the event. The William Woods JV team shot rounds of 296 and 314. The Owls finished one shot behind third place Quincy University.
Sophomore Bobby Mayer (St. Louis, Mo.), and freshman Chris Martin (Rolla, Mo.) led the Owls. Each finished in a tie for 7th place individually. Mayer shot rounds of 77 and 73. Martin shot rounds of 71 and 79.
