Owls Host Missouri Valley

(FULTON, Mo., Nov. 16) -The William Woods University men’s basketball team will host Missouri Valley College tonight in Anderson Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 pm.

William Woods enters tonight’s game 1-3 on the season. The Owls are coming off a 90-38 loss at Central Methodist University on November 10. The Owls were led in scoring by senior Jerone Lester (Chicago, Ill.) with seven points. Sophomore Caleb Parry (Rolla, Mo.) added five points and five rebounds in the loss.

Missouri Valley College enters tonight’s game 2-1 on the season. The Vikings are coming off a 69-65 win at the University of St. Francis on November 14.

The Owls, in their third season of existence, have played the Vikings once. Missouri Valley defeated William Woods 82-57 on January 2, 2009, in Marshall, Mo.
