Jennifer Daggs-Furkin '88
Jennifer Furkin graduated from WWU in 1988, continuing to act as recruitment advisor for Delta Chi of Alpha Phi for the next eight years. She held various support roles in the investment world, including Edward Jones and Donaldson, Lufkin, & Jenrette.
In 1997, Jennifer joined General Electric as an executive assistant in Corporate Business Development. She supported the mergers and acquisitions team for GE Chairman Jack Welch, working presentations, company research, and coordination of highly confidential purchase targets. In 1998, she moved to support the CIO’s human resource leader, supporting the Information Management Leadership Program (IMLP). Jennifer’s career in HR continued until 2001, when she left GE in preparation for the birth of her first child.
Jennifer currently lives in Columbia, Missouri, and is a fulltime mother of two children Reece (11) and Jameson (7). She spends much of her time supporting their activities of competitive cheer, tae kwon do, band and serving as a school volunteer. In her spare time, she enjoys visiting with friends and is an avid reader.
Jennifer currently is the chapter adviser for Delta Chi chapter of Alpha Phi.
