Admission Requirments

  • Masters Degree in Education from a regionally accredited college or university;
  • Completed application with non-refundable $25 application fee (application fee waived with on-line application);
  • Two completed recommendation forms (waived for William Woods M.Ed. graduates);
  • Official transcripts reflecting all undergraduate and graduate coursework;
  • Admissions essay (waived for William Woods M.Ed. graduates);
  • Minimum 3.1 graduate grade point average.

In addition to these requirements you will need the following in order to be certified as a Superintendent:

  • Ed.S. in Administration and coursework in: Psychology of the Exceptional Child, Foundations of Educational Administration, School Supervision and Curriculum Construction;
  • Passing Score on School Superintendent Assessment.
