Why did you choose William Woods?
This was the friendliest and welcoming campus I visited. Even though I ultimately came here for the equestrian program and the small size, this place is my home. I made connections of a lifetime here, and the friendliness that I first felt on this campus continues every day.

A few questions with Karis:
What is your favorite thing about William Woods?
The beauty of the campus takes my breath away every day; from the huge green trees, the beautiful lakes, to the colonial architecture. I love getting to enjoy the beauty of this campus every morning.
Why did you want to be a University Ambassador?
I was so impressed by my UA tour when I first visited the Woods that I wanted to give that same great experience to incoming students.
What is your favorite thing to do in Fulton?
I work at 1Canoe2 in the Brick District and it is the cutest little shop in town. I absolutely love working there and would recommend visiting to at least admire the beautiful renovation and history of the historical bank that houses the store.
What is your favorite memory from WWU?
The beach volleyball court on the far end of campus is one of my favorite places to spend a summer evening. Here we have campfires and s'mores following competitive volleyball matches. It is just a great time for community and fun with the students.
