Minor in Sport Management

If you want to pursue a career in athletics administration, sports communications, sports marketing, sales and promotions, or any other facet of community, collegiate, and professional sports, having a strong grasp of all that the industry has grown to become can make you a stand-out candidate. The minor in sport management from William Woods University can serve as a great addition to a major in education, exercise science or athletic training, business administration, political/legal studies or communication.
Your coursework will be a perfect blend of sports management courses and business management courses. Your sport management core requirements will be integrated with business management and marketing, business writing and computer science.
You will also be able to work in the Center for Human Performance, which includes state-of-the-art equipment. Work in our on-campus fitness facility, the Weider Fitness Center, and study in the only institution in Missouri recognized by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Education Recognition Program (ERP).
