Minor in Human Performance

Harder. Better. Faster. Stronger.

Understand the science behind what makes the human body work at its best — from the food we eat to the training plans we adhere to. Understand how to train the body to work harder, compete better, move faster and finish stronger.

Pursue a minor in human performance and learn the foundations of conditioning, anatomy, principles of strength and conditioning, and more.

This can be helpful for exercise science majors with concentrations in other fields, such as sport management, coaching, physical education or pre-athletic training, or for people interested in pursuing a career in the sports or fitness market in another field, such as business or pre-medicine. Perhaps you simply have a lifelong passion for exercise and want to understand the principles behind peak performance — this is a minor for you.
