Speech and Theatre Education Concentration in Theatre

Nurture a love for the theatre — from the green room to center stage

There is something very special about the high school theatre — it’s where students are given opportunities to foster their creativity and discover who they are — as actors, musicians, directors, technicians, managers, and simply as friends and people. To be a theatre teacher or program director is to foster hands-on learning and creativity in young people in a field that you’re passionate about.

The Theatre concentration within the Speech and Theatre Education degree at William Woods University provides you with advanced study into topics like acting, drama, history, and diction so that you may bring your expertise to the classroom.
