Biology Minor

Biology chem teacher and studentsNational Science Foundation funding, along with WWU support, has enabled us to establish excellent research facilities in molecular biology. All WWU research is carried out through close faculty/student interaction. Current projects include the epidemiology of tick-carried disease and annotating eukaryotic genomes. If you are interested in environmental science and wildlife resources, courses in ecology and field biology provide a background in these biological fields. As members of the Reis Biological Field Station Consortium, we have access to their outdoor laboratory site.

The Biology minor is comprised of 20 credits.
