Describes materials acquired by the National Agriculture Library and cooperating institutions from 1970-present. Covers over 850 serial titles and other resources relating to all aspects of veterinary medicine, agriculture, forestry, and animal science and is updated monthly.
Biology Digest
Provides detailed life science abstracts written in a nontechnical style for students and interested nonscientists for over 300 sources. Coverage ranges from 1989 to the present, and updates occur 9 times a year.
BioMed Central
Includes almost 200 peer-reviewed journals from general titles such as Journal of Biology to specialist journals such as BMC Bioinformatics or Malaria Journal. Most offer free access, but a select few may not allow access to non-subscribers.
Company of Biologists Journals
The Company of Biologists offers open access to these scientific journals: Development, Journal of Cell Science, The Journal of Experimental Biology, and Disease Models & Mechanisms. Users can search each title individually, or search all titles at once.
Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)
Contains peer-reviewed scientific and scholarly journals in a wide variety of subject areas and languages. Users can perform a search to find articles, or can choose the Find Journals link to browse which journals are available in a specific subject area.

A search interface for the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) which searches several databases, including: Books, Cancer Chromosomes, Conserved Domain Database, CoreNucleotide, 3D Domains, Gene, Genome, Genome Project, dbGaP, GEO Datasets, HomoloGene, Journals, the entire NCBI web site, Online Mendelian Inheritance in Animals, PopSet, PubMed, UniGene, and more.
HighWire Press
HighWire Press, a division of the Stanford University Libraries, produces the online versions of peer-reviewed scientific journals and other scholarly content. This is the largest repository of free full-text life science articles in the world, with 1,965,289 articles available without subscription.

Energy Citations Database
Provides access to more than 2 million citations from the U.S. Department of Energy in chemistry, physics, materials, environmental science, geology, engineering, mathematics, climatology, oceanography, computer science and related disciplines. It includes bibliographic citations to report literature, conference papers, journal articles, books, dissertations, and patents.
International Plant Names Index (IPNI)
A database of the names and associated basic bibliographical details of seed plants, ferns and fern allies. The records come from the Index Kewensis (IK), the Gray Card Index (GCI) and the Australian Plant Names Index (APNI). IPNI is the most comprehensive listing of plant names.
