Equestrian Periodicals
A list of the 35 different equestrian and horse related periodicals to which the Library subscribes. Some of these periodicals have some online content, and some of them are indexed in the Library's research databases.
AGRICOLA
Describes materials acquired by the National Agriculture Library and cooperating institutions from 1970-present. Covers over 850 serial titles and other resources relating to all aspects of veterinary medicine, agriculture, forestry, and animal science and is updated monthly.
Academic Search Premier -- full-text available
Academic Search™ Premier contains indexing and abstracts for over 8,450 journals, with full text for more than 4,650 of those titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,000 titles. Academic Search Premier contains unmatched full-text coverage in biology, chemistry, engineering, physics, psychology, religion & theology, etc.
Article First
Index of articles from the contents pages of over 16,000 journals from 1990 to the present. Subjects covered include business, science, humanities, social science, medicine, technology, and popular culture. Updated daily.
SPORTDiscus
Most comprehensive, bibliographic database covering sport, fitness, exercise and related disciplines. Includes over 650,000 records with journal and monograph coverage going back to 1800, and over 20,000 dissertations and theses. Updated monthly.

You can also use the forms available at the Library to place an Interlibrary Loan Request, or contact the Library. Some of the article databases we subscribe to allow you to place direct requests while you are searching, so be sure to look for these as you are searching for information.
