To Access the Library's Databases, choose one of the following options:
Databases Listed by Division and Department
You can access these databases from any computer with an internet connection. When you click on the title of any of the library’s databases, you will be asked for a username and password. If you have one, use your network username and password. If you are teaching through the Graduate and Adult Studies division only, use your current cohort name and number for the username, and the word cohort for the password. Subject coverage includes performance art and installation works, video art, computer and electronic art, body art, graffiti, artists' books, theatre arts, conservation, crafts, ceramic and glass art, ethnic arts, graphic and museum design, fashion, and calligraphy, as well as traditional media including illustration, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and drawing. Indexes over 1,100 titles of the world's leading arts and humanities journals and selected articles from social science and science journals from 1980 to present. Updated weekly.
CAMIO--Catalog of Museum Images Online
A growing online collection documenting works of art from around the world, representing the collections of prominent museums. CAMIO highlights the creative output of cultures around the world, from prehistoric to contemporary times, and covering the complete range of expressive forms. Contains over 95,000 images.

Biology Digest -- Journals indexed
Provides detailed life science abstracts written in a nontechnical style for students and interested nonscientists for over 300 sources. Coverage ranges from 1989 to the present, and updates occur 9 times a year.
GEOBASE -- Journals indexed
Worldwide literature on geography, geology, and ecology from over 2000 sources (1980 to present). Updated twice a month.
MEDLINE -- Journals indexed
All areas of medicine, including veterinary medicine, psychiatry, nutrition, clinical medicine, dentistry and nursing (corresponds to the print indexes Index Medicus, Index to Dental Literature, and International Nursing Index). Over 10,500 sources are covered, some ranging from 1965 to present. Updated daily.

MLA International Bibliography -- Journals indexed
The MLA International Bibliography is a classified listing and subject index of scholarly books and articles on modern languages, literatures, folklore, and linguistics which has been compiled by the Modern Language Association of America since 1921. The electronic version includes indexing from 1963 onwards, and currently contains more than 1.8 million records from over 4,400 periodicals.
