Setting Up Course Reserves
Faculty or staff can place items on reserve at the Circulation Desk. Most reserve materials must be used in the library.
Guidelines
--Allow at least 1 day for processing time before the item can be used by students.
--Reserve items may be borrowed for several hours, one day or overnight, depending on the wishes of the faculty member placing the items on reserve. Please let library staff know your wishes when you request an item to be placed on reserve (see below for more information).
--Fines of $1 per hour overdue are assessed for reserve materials not returned on time.
Library Use Only -
The item must be used in the library; the checkout period is two hours.
Overnight -
The item may leave the library and is due the following morning, one hour after opening time; the time of day the item is checked out is irrelevant in determining when it is due back to the library.
One Day -
The item may leave the library and is due one minute before closing time the next day; the time of day the item is checked out is irrelevant in determining when it is due back to the library.
