Arrival & Departure
All smiles So tired...

William Woods University is located in Fulton, Mo., seven miles South of the intersection of Interstate 70 and U.S. Highway 54. It is approximately 100 miles West of St. Louis and 155 miles East of Kansas City.

Session I and II residential participants should arrive on the Sunday of their respective session between 5:30–7:00 p.m., and go directly to the residence hall.

Dinner is not scheduled for Sunday evening, so plan to eat before arriving on campus. There will be an introduction and information session each Sunday at 7:00 p.m., in the living room of the residence hall.

Session I and II commuting participants are invited to attend the 7:00 p.m. introduction and information session held at the residence hall on the Sunday of their respective riding week. Otherwise, commuting students should arrive at the University Stables’ Classroom on the Monday of their respective session by 7:45 a.m. Additional information will be explained at this Monday morning meeting with all of the riders, so commuting students will not be behind if they are unable to attend the Sunday evening meeting.

Arrangements can be made during Sessions I and II for participants to be picked up at the Columbia Regional Airport in Columbia, Mo. This airport is forty-five minutes from campus. People flying into the Columbia Regional Airport should arrange their flights to arrive on the Sunday of their session by 6:00 p.m. Airport pick-up will be at that time, or as soon as all scheduled participants have arrived. These participants will also be taken back to the airport on the Friday of their session. Departing flights should be scheduled after 1:00 p.m. The cost of this airport service is $50 round-trip.

For Session I and II participants flying into the St. Louis Lambert Airport, there is a shuttle service available. MO-X will pick you up at the airport and drop you off at the McDonalds-McStop in Kingdom City. Kingdom City is just seven miles North of Fulton. Reservations for this shuttle must be made through MO-X. Their website is: MoExpress.com and their number is 1.877.669.4826.

If you will be taking the MO-X shuttle, WWU Summer Riding Program staff will supply you with transportation to and from the McStop in Kingdom City. Please make a note on your registration form if you will be using MO-X.
