 Student Teaching in Spring 2008

Applications to student teach in the Fall 2008 semester must be submitted to the Education Office by April 10, 2008.

Applications (yellow forms) are available in the Education Office, AB304. They are in a hanging folder to your right just inside the front door.

Applicants must be accepted into the Teacher Education Program to be eligible for student teaching.

C-BASE EXAM

The C-Base exam will be offered (to be announced).


Contact Dr. Hertzog immediately if you are interested in taking this administration of the examination.

The C-BASE will be offered at various sites statewide in June. Neither William woods nor Westminster College participates in this administration. Contact the College BASE coordinator at the University of Missouri-Columbia's Assessment Resource Center at (800) 366-8232 or collegebase@missouri.edu for information. 


  PRAXIS II

Registrations must be received by ETS on October 18, 2007 for the November 17, 2007 examination date.

Remaining PRAXIS registration deadlines this academic year:


March 27, 2008 for test April 26, 2008
May 15, 2008 for test June 14, 2008
June 26, 2008 for test July 26, 2008 (Not given at WWU or Westminster)


WWU does not administer the PRAXIS test. See Dr. Hertzog for details or the web site listed above for details on test sites.

PRAXIS II study guides are available on reserve in Dulaney Library.

  JOB FAIR

The Missouri Job Opportunities in Education (MOJOE) annual teacher job fair is scheduled (Tuesday, March 18, 2008) at the Hearnes Center on the campus of the University of Missouri - Columbia.
