Testimonials
Accounting
"An accounting degree from William Woods opened the door to a successful future. The
education I received not only gave me the knowledge and confidence necessary to begin
a career in the field of finance, but provided me with a strong foundation for my
graduate studies as well. Choosing to be an accounting major at William Woods was
the best decision I could have made." Cale Fessler, accounting graduate, chief financial officer, William Woods University
"At William Woods, I earned my degree in accounting, and paired it with a minor in
political and legal studies. William Woods was a great place for me to earn my degree.
I found the smaller class sizes to be beneficial because I was able to become close
with all the students studying in the same area. The professors were willing and able
to put in the extra time to make sure that I really understood the materials. At the
same time, there was a wide selection of specialty courses to take so I was able to
get the most of out of my chosen subjects." Adam Mulari, accounting graduate and graduate of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law
Business Administration
"The small, supportive community of William Woods University had a major impact on
me as a student and future businesswoman, as well as on me as an individual. The business
department provided me with skills that will greatly aid my future career. I have
become extremely competent in creating annual reports, executive reports, literature
reviews and effective resumés. I will take these skills with me throughout my career."
Eshell Estrella, business administration graduate
"I came into the business program unsure about my future endeavors in the working
world. However, after exploring many focused business courses and reflecting upon
my professors’ personal teachings, my future plans were set. I am living my dreams."

Management Information Systems
"The MIS program at WWU is one I would recommend to anyone. Many of the classes allow
hands-on experiences, and the professors are willing to go out of their way to help
you succeed. There are also numerous ways to get involved with the program outside
the classroom. For example, being a member on SWAT (Student Website Advancement Team),
attending conferences that are recommended by the professors and going to department
BBQs (free food is always a bonus!). Not only do you leave with a solid education,
but also with a close group of friends who have shared the same experience. William
Woods is a place that people really do know your name. It is a great place to be with
endless opportunities." Stacie Bonte, MIS graduate, digital communications specialist at Fleishman-Hillard
"My William Woods University MIS degree gave me the skills to be successful in a competitive,
challenging and ever-changing world of information technologies. I was able to take
advanced learning classes and e-commerce classes. I completed three internships that
enabled hands-on projects in networking, web site development and communications.
All three of these experiences allowed me the opportunity to deal with clients outside
the university. I feel these are priceless learning opportunities that cannot be replicated
in a textbook. The MIS professors sit down with you and map out your classes to maximize
your educational experience and guide you towards your chosen career path. They take
ownership of your development, and I wouldn't be where I am without them!" Alicia Jones, MIS graduate, Application Developer at MCH Strategic Data.
